Below are a few Golf Package Questions that we are frequently asked. If you do not find the answer you seek, please contact us here »

Do courses offer discounts for kids playing golf?
Some courses offer Jr. rates with a paying adult.
What happens if it rains on the day I am supposed to play golf?
Should you experience inclement weather on a day that you have a scheduled tee time, just give us a call and we will contact the course to see if they are having golfers play. Since the distance to some golf courses is a farther distance, we would suggest that you not drive to the course ahead of time prior to checking the status of play. Some golf courses will offer rain checks to the golfers, while others will offer full refunds. If the course offers a full refund to the hotel, we will be happy to pass the same credit along to our guest.
Do courses offer better discounts for multiple rounds at the same courses?
Many courses are owned or managed by the same company, or one entity. To encourage play at their courses, they sometimes offer a more discounted rate as an incentive. As a package provider we are able to pass these savings on to our golfers through our package rates.
What does “Multi Play” mean? Can I play a second round for one greens fee rate?
“Multi Play” does not mean that you can play all day for one greens fee rate, it just means that you are playing multiple courses owned by one company. The additional savings for multi plays could be from $5.00 – $25.00 per person per round depending on the courses.
Are carts included in the package quote?
Our package rates are all inclusive of carts, surcharges, and applicable taxes. There are no hidden costs.
What does “Double Tee” mean?
In Myrtle Beach most courses do a double tee format for golf. Two groups start golfing at the same time, one on tee box #1 and the other group on tee box #10 and they then play through. The group starting on tee box #10 plays holes 10-18 then 1-9, while the group off tee box #1 plays holes 1-18 in order.
The first tee time is usually around 7:15-7:30 AM and continues until about 9:30 AM. The next set of times begin after 12:00 PM. This is why most courses do not offer tee times between 10:00 AM and 12:00 PM.
What are my chances of requesting to play off of tee box #1?
All tee sheets have a list of both times (Tee#1 and Tee #10). You can always express your preference but keep in mind, it may not be available.
What are the most affordable months to play golf in Myrtle Beach?
Greens fees are the least expensive during the Summer season which runs from the end of May through mid-September, and Winter which runs from late November to mid-February. However, June, July and August are “peak season” for higher accommodation rates. May and September afford beautiful weather, and affordable packages based on lower greens fee and accommodation rates.
What does an “average” round of golf cost?
During peak season you can expect to pay an average round of about $70.00 per person including cart and applicable taxes. During the Summer and Winter months that rate will drop to around $45.00.
Does Myrtle Beach experience extreme weather resulting in frost delays?
Unusually extreme weather results in the possibility for frost delays during the Winter season in Myrtle Beach. Please note that if you book a tee time around 7:00-8:00 AM you may be delayed anywhere from 1-2 hours.
Do the courses allow you to walk?
During peak hours of play, courses do not allow walking due to the demand of rounds. However, some courses do allow walking after 1:30 PM.
How many golf courses are there along the Grand Strand?
There are over 100+ championship golf courses within a 75 mile radius and close proximity to the Grand Strand.
