Ocean Ridge Plantation boasts of having some of the best courses on the Grand Strand, and for good reason. With fantastic courses such as Tiger’s Eye, there’s no doubt that the complex is home to some of the most challenging courses.
Tiger’s Eye is another Tom Cate design that fails to disappoint, with a slope of 144 and 7,014 yards of golfing paradise. You’ll feel as though you’re playing in a mountainous region when you’re actually playing right off the North Carolina coastline.
Water is a dominant feature here and comes into play on 13 of the 18 holes. Cate placed water hazards which will stare you down and threaten your successful golfing day. You’ll happily welcome a warm-up hole in the form of a par-4, but that’s the only breather you’ll get at Tiger’s Eye.
