A long-time local favorite has stepped it up and is flaunting a new facelift! Whispering Pines, which recently underwent an upgrade, is quickly becoming one of the must-plays on the Grand Strand. The course is now more “open” due to the removal of trees and is rapidly gaining traffic due to its visibility from the airport and nearest highway. We are also located directly in the heart of Myrtle Beach, which allows you to enjoy your vacation as well as get in a round of your favorite pastime without having to sacrifice one or the other!
Whispering Pines is the only course in the Myrtle Beach area that is designated as a “Certified Audubon Cooperative Sanctuary.” Only three courses in South Carolina have received this honor, which is given to courses which strive to protect the environment as well as preserve the natural heritage of the game of golf.
Don’t forget to put this hidden treasure on your list of “must-plays” during your golfing vacation!
